If I had to call someone my #1 fan not only in building VINTAGE Cosmetics, but in life, it would be my dad.

From the moment I had the idea of creating my first make-up line as a college student, he was there by my side guiding and supporting me through every step---from opening a business checking account to making sure the business name I wanted was available. His support, curiosity, and pride about my interests, passions, and dreams are what I appreciate and love about him most. Because it has played a huge role in fueling my entrepreneurial spirit and the way I live my life.

When I was a kid, he happily sat through plays and voice lessons, and was always there to cheer me on in every area of life. And as I became a make-up artist, cosmetics creator, and beauty industry expert, he has always appreciated the role my career has played in helping women feel beautiful. In fact, I remember him telling me from a young age that the eyes and eyebrows are a woman’s most beautiful feature. It’s what he noticed first about my mom when they met. So it should come as no surprise that he appreciates the Brighten & Define Eyeshadow Palette!

Today, in honor of Father’s Day, I wanted to give him a shout out and share the powerful role he has played in making me the person I am today. He believes that true beauty is all about looking like yourself and giving selflessly to others. And it’s because of him that I have stayed committed to honoring my own inner and outer beauty, as well as that of every woman I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
